Is this meant to replace data analysts?
No, this is meant to be a tool that democratizes database access for all those who don’t know how to code in SQL in an organization. This applies to decision makers of all forms, such as product managers. By providing access to this tool, analysts will have more time to focus on more complex questions and analysis.
How does this tool reduce “time to insight”?

Is Basejump secure?
Yes, Basejump provides data access by using a concept of ‘teams’. Each team has a restricted role in the client’s database and the AI uses that team role to query your data - so it’s not possible for the AI to access data that the user is not allowed to see.
Will the Basejump AI hallucinate results?
Our tool focuses on providing datasets back to the user, which helps prevent hallucinations since the data will always reflect the data in a client’s data store. There is an opportunity for the AI to write an inaccurate query, but we provide the code used to fetch the data so all of the AI’s results are fully auditable.
